The day that changed my life

Have you ever felt like some moments in your life really changed your perspectives? Here is one of mine.

One of the most transforming days of my life was when I participated in a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program (MBSR) at Balderklinikken, when I was a CEO there. Research and metastudies shows that the program improves focus, attention, and ability to work under stress. The 8 weeks training ended with a whole day in silence. And that day really changed my perspective on life for the better.

Trough a whole day of silence you block out all the noises from the external world and really have to deal with yourself in all senses. Going from feeling impatient to irritered to angry to sad to tired to relaxed to happy in only one day, made me realize that emotiens are not constant. So why should I ever have what we call «a bad day» again, when I know it can switch in a matter of seconds? And in fact, I have never had a bad day since. But for sure had many moments of up and down. The difference is for how long you are letting your bad emotiens stay with you.

Together with Ingun Mjaaland an Experienced Mindfullness Trainer and friend, we are taking it one step further and inviting you to a whole weekend in silence (15-17.th of June) at her castle in Hemsedal with the most amazing landscape and views.
